Implantation: There usually isn't bleeding associated with implantation. If it does occur it is usually a miniscule amount of blood and may look like pink or rust colored specks.

Spotting: Generally, implantation bleeding is very short, on the order of a few hours. Most women mistake it for a period, but it does not last nearly as long.

Like blood : Blood is blood. You can not distinguish this from the much more common reasons to bleed from your vagina like an early period. If you think you are pregnant simply check a pregnancy test.
