Why does my pee smell like beef?

Doctor can evaluate: A person who smells an unusual aroma in her urine can see her primary care doctor to check if there is a problem. The doctor may refer to a urologist or nephrologist if needed. Not sure about beef aromas (raw? Cooked?), but sometimes foods, medications, illnesses, etc... May cause unusual urine aromas.

Drink more water: Decreased water or diet heavy in animal fat can do this.

Don't know: Get a urinalysis and medical evaluation if you are concerned.
