A member asked:

I got tinea versicolor everywhere back , neck , chest , i just wanna get rid of this so i can take my shirt off

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not easy: Tinea versicolor is a little difficult to resolve the uneven coloring, even after being treated as the sun unevenly tans the affected skin as opposed to the unaffected skin, highlighting the areas. I use an oral antifungal, called ketaconazole 2 weeks apart, combined with using a shampoo, either Nizoral (ketoconazole) or selsun blue type on a weekly basis. See your doctor for treatment!
