Follow-up needed: Were antibiotics prescribed? Were the teeth infected? Until your son can be seen for his follow-up appointment with the dentist who removed these teeth, children's strength Ibuprofen (advil/motrin) can be used to keep inflammation down, which may help reduce pain.
