Allergy: Atopy is another name for allergy. Atopic individuals have a tendency for allergic diseases such as hay fever, allergic conjunctivitis, asthma and eczema.

Atopy: Atopy usually dignifies atopic dermatitis. Some people call it eczema. It is a condition which affects the skin with dryness, redness, itchiness. It is probably brought on by allergy, but in most instances we don't know what the cause is.
