Pertussis vaccine: Is a vaccine preventing from a pertussis, or whooping cough. It's commonly given in the different combination with the two other vaccines: diphtheria & tetanus. Pertussis vaccines are recommended for people of all ages. 5 doses needed for a full protection, it's effective ~80-90% of the time. It doesn't provide lifelong protection, after 5 years protection declines & booster is recommended.
