May be associated w iron deficiency anemia, developmental disabilities like autism etc, pregnancy, mental health conditions e.g. Ocd, schizophrenia etc. Continued consumption may lead to lead poisoning, bowel problems, intestinal obstruction or perforation , dental injury or parasitic infection.
