Not in human doses: Hydrocodone is a pain medicine - a narcotic to be specific. In any reasonable dose, there should be no arrhythmic effects. In massive overdose it causes vagal stimulation which can produce slow heart rhythms or even some heart block as a (temporary) side-effect.

No: Although this drug may slow an individual's heart rate as a transient "side effect, " its indications (reasons for prescribing) are for other purposes.

Not really: Hydrocodone is a very strong, narcotic pain reliever. It does act as a central nervous system depressant, so therefore there may be some slowing of the heart rhythm. But that is not where the hydrocodone works. Hydrocodone can be very addictive as well, so take it sparingly and be careful.

No: There are many meds used for regulation of heart rate/rhythm. Hydrocodone is not one of them. It is a narcotic pain relief medication that is addictive.
