Stomach virus?: More information is needed-which virus? The cruise line is likely to be informing you that a virus which causes vomiiting and diarrhea has caused illness onboard your ship. You and your fellow travelers will have to decide if you want to risk catching it or rescheduling your trip. Frequent handwashing, especially before eating will minimze your chances of getting sick.

Which virus?: You need to find out which virus was the problem, flu, stomach etc. Normal hygiene precautions should always be taken including washing hands frequently.
