A member asked:

Is it safe to take vytorin (ezetimibe and simvastatin) while pregnant or breastfeeding?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No when nursing: Because of a concern with disruption of infant lipid metabolism, any cholesterol-lowering drugs are best not used during breastfeeding. An alternate drug is preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
