A member asked:

Is it unhealthy to love my child more than life itself?

Well... yes and no: Ok, are we talking this in a metaphorical or literal way? If it's more of a "if it were a choice between me and my child, i'd choose my child", then that's normal. I think most parents you ask would feel the same. If it's "if something happens to my child i would harm myself", then it's not ok. Or if you find that you are over involving yourself in your child's life rather than living your own.
