Maybe.: To know whether a back brace will help your pain, you need to know what's causing it. The back brace is best used in the acute setting, for a short duration when pain is severe. If you haven't already, make an appointment with your physician to discuss your symptoms and how long you have been in pain. He/she may refer you to a spine specialist for further examination and treatment options.
