Good Question: The post-partum pelvic rest orders generally concerns penetrating sexual activities. For non-penetrating sexual activity w/o tearing/suturing, i cannot think of any contraindication that would preclude you from clitoral stimulation early in the post-partum period. My conservative advice would be to wait 1-2 weeks post partum, then proceed. As for penetrating sexual activities, go with d/c instr.
