Consider an infectio: Yeast infections are one of the most common causes of irregular discharge and a foul aroma (i am assuming vaginal discharge since you comment on menstrual period). This should be treated and/or cultured. Bacterial overgrowth may cause a similar problem. Your ob/gyn should be able to resolve these differences.
