What is the definition or description of: dermatitis?

Dermatitis: Dermatitis means inflammation of skin. Contact dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis and seborrheic dermatitis are different kinds of dermatitis.

Dermatitis: This is derived from the greek words derma (skin) & it is (inflammation). Most are due to allergic reaction to specific allergen. Chronic cases are also termed eczema. Symptoms range from skin rashes to bumps to blisters, along with redness/swelling/itching.
