Does imperforate anus mean you will probably have anal cancer later in life?

No: An imperforate anus occurs when the aftergut is forming & fails to join with a dimpling of the anal skin. This occurs sporaticly or associated with other birth defects.Anal cancer is not linled to this malformation. There is evidence that hpv (human papaloma virus) which thrives in anogenital skin is linked to anal cancer.
