Yes: A person can become allergic to almost anything. Having said that, using leeches for detox makes no sense. A leech will drain some blood, but they are not filters that cleanse for you. In addition, the agents they secrete to thin your blood do not have much of an effect systemically, and haven't been shown to have any detox properties.
