What are side effects of rogaine/minoxodil?

Hypotension: If you are taking it for alopecia, the most common side effect is hypotension or low blood pressure, especially when changing position (i.e. Sitting to standing). It is also associated with ankle edema (swelling) due to fluid retention. Some people may experience tachycardia (rapid heart beat or palpitations).
