Hello. : Hello. You can try drinking slightly flattened ginger ale or eating crystalized ginger. You can make ginger tea by pouring boiling water over freshly sliced organic ginger and allowing it to steep for at least 5 minutes. This will not stop the pain in the esophagus. However, it may help to quell the stomach, from wince the gastric juices arose.

M.D. visit: I would suggest visiting your physician or urgent care over the weekend for an examination. Sometimes reflux can cause chest pain, but there are many causes of chest pain related to the pulmonary and cardiac systems.
