You : You have dermatographism, a form of hives. Would see an allergist who could help you with this if not controlled by otc antihistamines. It would be best to try to figure out what is causing it, if possible.

This : This is consistent with dermatographism, literally that you can "write on your skin" and have it welt up (create a hive). Sometimes it's unclear why your skin is hyperresponsive but this is commonly seen in allergic patients e.g. Patients having seasonal allergies. Often antihistamines will help "settle the skin down" if used routinely for a period of time.
