Some : Some patients bleed and spot for several months after putting mirena (levonorgestrel). Usually it stops by end of 6 months. So if no other symptoms be patient. If bleeding is heavy and is associated with pain please see a physician. Raksha trivedi, md, facog www.Avaniwoman.Com.
