It's : It's unlikely, but possible. Sperm can live in the reproductive tract of a woman for up to 7 days, although they typically don't last that long; it's usually more like 3-4 days. If your menstral cycle is completely normal, you should not be able to get pregnant for about 8 days after you start menstruating, but if your partner's sperm are unsually hardy or your next ovulation comes a bit early, it's a remote, but not unimaginable, possibility. While it's tempting to not use condoms, the lack of latex merely increases the risk of unwanted pregnancy and sexually-transmitted diseases, it doesn't increase intimacy or the true pleasure that sex can give.

Pregnancy Risk: The risk for pregnancy is low 2 days prior to start of period - BUT, never say never with pregnancy. Recommend using protection every time you have sexual intercourse. Take a home pregnancy test if your period is late.
