You : You need a pelvic examination. You could have a vaginal abnormality causing the pain (cysts, tumor, warts, scarring, etc.) the only way to tell is to have an examination by your doctor along with a complete history to help aid in the diagnosis. Good luck.

Should not hurt: Having sexual intercourse should be pleasurable and one of the joys of life. If you are having discomfort to the level of tears, then either your partner is rough and inconsiderate or you have some physical problem that is causing the pain. You need to make an appointment with your OB/GYN to determine the cause of your distress and get it treated.
