Could psoriasin help ease discomfort of herpes break outs

I : I do not believe psoriasin gel will be of great help. The active ingredient is coal tar, which will unlikely be strong enough for the intense pain from a herpes infection, and may actually cause irritation. The best thing to do is treata herpes outbreak, is with prescription medication specific for herpes (acyclovir, or valtrex), and use advil/ Ibuprofen for pain. Please see your doctor for appropriate treatment. Good luck.
