Can u take famotidine with concerta are u allowed to mix them together

Even : Even though there are no known interactions between Famotidine and Concerta when taking both medications, mixing them could affect absorption. When you decrease your stomach acid with famotidine, you may not absorb the Concerta appropriately, so you should probably not mix them together.

Concerta and pepcid (famotidine): Concerta is methylphenidate -a stimulant used typically for ADHD. That drug is similar to 'speed' and could have side effects like nervousness, high blood pressure, and even some GI effects. Pepcid (famotidine) is an over-the-counter antacid that generally won't have major drug interactions with Concerta. If you can separate the taking of each med in time that is probably better in case of absorption issues
