When : When counts days in a menstrual cycle - the first day of full flow bleeding is usually considering cycle day 1. In a typical 28 day cycle - ovulation occurs on cycle day 14 but may vary +/- days. In general, i recommend starting to have intercourse around cycle day 9-10 and having intercourse every other day for a week. If you have a 21 day cycle - ovulation can be occuring earlier than cd14, so you may consider starting to have intercourse as soon as your menses stops and every other day for about 7-10 days. I hope this helps!
