By : By 10 months, your baby should still be drinking between 20oz and 28oz of formula or breast milk every day in addition to his food. The breast milk or formula will still be providing a majority of his daily calories. As long as he is growing well and does not have other problems such as aspiration or reflux, you can start by giving him a little water (4oz/day is fine and much better than juice!). If he is not gaining weight well or has any swallowing disorders, you may want to talk to your pediatrician before starting water. Good luck!
