Perhaps : Perhaps it's time for another husband's opinion? Seriously, why haven't you sought medical care for this instead of asking for on line advice? By not seeking medical attention, you risk a lifetime of pain and deformity, never being able to fit into a pair of shoes comfortably, and at the worst, losing your toe because the blood supply is compromised from the obvious deformity. Please go see a podiatrist or orthopedist now.

Go to ER : Sounds like you dislocated your toe. The increasing pain and numbness may indicate a problem with the circulation to the toe. Go to emergency room or see an orthopedic surgeon or podiatrist asap.

See a Dr. Promptly : Any extremity injury with severe deformity runs the risk of damage to the nerves and/ blood vessels. This could cause permanent injury or even loss of the part from interruption of circulation. Have the foot evaluated as soon as possible. Meanwhile, limit time on the foot to prevent swelling which could further compromise circulation.
