I have 11 yr old grandson. he eats quickly then moves his bowels immediately after. what could be wrong? my grandson also has trouble listening to his mother and often needs corrected/disciplined

Those : Those are very common issues. There is a reflex that occurs after eating called the "gastro-colic reflex", that is stronger in some patients then others. After eating, they need to have a bowel movement. There should only be a concern if he is having diarrhea, blood in his stool, abdominal pain, or other problems.

Not much info : this child could benefit from evaluation from GI doc. secondly sometimes discipline alone does not help. Have a child psychiatrist evaluation him, there may be other problems on going that your not aware of.
