Yes, : Yes, i recommend that you do. He may be dehydrated if he has severe diarrhea and has only been able to take in a small amount of water. His fever would also be a source of losing body fluid. The biggest concern here is that he is experiencing shortness of breath. He may well need intravenous fluid and the doctor can determine if more than that is necessary.
