Is : Is it a toothache or a sore throat? Rinse with warm salt water. If it hurts worse, its a sore throat. If it feels better- it may be a toothache. Sore thoat- call your physician. Toothache- call your dentist. Either way follow dr. Mccloud's suggestion and take pain medication until they can see you.

Toothache Remedy: A remedy is something that cures or relieves a disease or bodily disorder; a healing medicine, application, or treatment. Other than OTC pain meds, there are no DIY treatments to replace proper dental care. Please call a dentist for an appointment. In addition, the pain meds do not solve your problem, they just prolong your agony.

See a dentist ASAP: A tooth abscess won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus and to other areas of your head and neck. Dentist will treat a tooth abscess by draining it and getting rid of the infection. See any dentist ASAP.

Get to a dentist: Taking meds or any other DIY "remedies" will not get to the source of your problem. You need to have an xray and an exam with a dentist asap
