Your : Your pain may be related to active sinus disease. In the case of acute sinusitis, you may have pain in the sinuses that surround the eye. This can cause pain and ache and is often related to viral or bacterial infection. Most often this will clear on its own, but many physicians will treat with antibiotics. I suppose pollen exposure could make symptoms worse if one has ongoing sinusitis and underlying allergies. If things do not improve soon, i would suggest evaluation by your medical doctor.

Pollen : Pollen can cause burning, stinging, and itching. If that is what you mean by ache, then you will benefit from allergy eye drops.
