Hello. : Hello. Don't know how old you are. I can't diagnose this pain. If it is near the bone in the middle of the chest (or the ribs nearby) it might be costochrondritis. This is inflammation of the cartilage that is along the ribs, especially where the ribcage meets the breast bone. It can be worse with certain movements or taking breaths. With that said, i don't know the actual cause for your discomfort. If it doesn't seem to be going away, ask your parents to take you in to see your pediatrician. Take care.

Likely heartburn: The story fits more with what's behind the heart.When we swallow our own spit we open the entrance to the stomach.If it is processing food, the squeeze will push stomach acid up into the lower esophagus.For some this will cause transient pain.Tums (calcium carbonate) can helps some, but avoiding caffeine & not laying down for an hour after eating, can help it fade sooner. You doc can confirm it.
