Pelvic : Pelvic pain can be caused by a wide variety of conditions. If a patient has been trying to get pregnant, then a pregnancy test should be taken to make that diagnosis. If pain occurs with urination or the patient has increased urination then it may be a urinary tract infection causing discomfort. If a patient had vomiting, fever, or worsening pain then an intestinal problem or even an infection could be causing the symptoms and the physician should be notified. Pain can also be caused by irritation to the bowels, even from constipation, or irritation from indigestion.
