Not every day: The biggest advantage of the patch compared to pills is that it's easier--you just have to use/change once a week, rather than daily. Long-acting reversible contraceptives (larc) are even easier--iuds or an implant that goes underneath the skin---more effective (as effective as sterilization) and easier. The implant lasts 3 yrs; an iud lasts 5 or 10 yrs.
