Hi, : Hi, it would not be right for me to tell you how long you can starve yourself without dying, because you are likely to push the envelope. It sounds like you are very concerned about controlling your weight. The fact of the matter is that if you eat almost nothing, than your body will go into starvation mode and your metabolic rate will drop markedly. That means your body will burn very few calories. Starving yourself can definately lead to death. This is very unhealthy. I don't know if you are a teenager or a young adult. Your relationship with food is not healthy. My guess is that you probably feel pretty miserable. Many times people keep their purging and their self imposed starvation a secret from others. I hope you can talk to your parents about this, or your doctor, or a counselor. This sounds very serious and you deserve to receive help. Take care and please get help.
