Fertility : Fertility is dropping by age 42, but if you are not using any form of birth control, pregnancy is still a possibility. Premenopause or perimenopause usually occurs between ages 45 to 55 but it can certainly start earlier. Your menstrual periods can be lighter or heavier. Your menses might last longer or fewer days than what has been normal for you. It may not come regularly either. Dizziness can be a symptom as well as hot flashes, problems sleeping, fatigue, irritability, depressed mood, thinner or more dry vagina and poorer memory.
