There : There is no absolute age, however, as a minor, it is important to take a look at the big picture. What is your maturity level and understanding of the surgery and risks? What are your parents perspective? Lastly, is the surgery really indicated? Just because one person told you that does not necessarily mean that is the case. There are instances of many models being told they need a particular surgery and they have done without it and have done just fine. I would suggest having a consultation with a plastic surgeon with your parents so you can have this sort of discussion in greater depth.

Considering : Considering plastic surgery like this it is important to make sure that the patient's emotional and physical maturity level is appropriate to proceed with surgery. You could get a better sense of whether cheek implantation is something to consider by consulting with a couple plastic surgeons who focus on facial procedures. An in depth discussion of the options and risks with you and your parents will allow everyone to make a better informed decision.

I : I think that placing implants of any type into a teenager for cosmetic reasons is not a good idea and i would suggest not doing it until you are at least 18. As much as they are telling you that you need bigger cheeks to become a model, there is no guarantee that the implants will land you the desired job.

Usually 18: A general rule for me is cosmetic surgery for those 18 and older and also those who are mature enough to understand the procedure and risks involved. However, there are always exceptions to the rule. In your case i would definitely suggest for you to wait. Doing a cosmetic procedure for any other reason than your own happiness does not usually end well.

I would wait: Perhaps try a filler first.

Whether : Whether you're old enough to have cheek implants depends on whether you've stopped growing or not. It is important that your facial growth has stabilized before considering this type of surgery. Another option to improve cheek definition is facial fat grafting. I don't normally recommend this procedure in teenagers, though, as there are concerns with how the grafted fat will behave as you mature in the future.

There : There are a few options for the cheeks. You can consider fat transfer from the abdomen to the cheeks. This is using your own tissues and its permanent. This is becoming very popular and effective. The other option is placement of a cheek implant. That is a good alternative. The implant can be placed through the eyelid or mouth.
