Yes: Often when someone first develops a delusion they have no way of knowing that their brain is not quite working right. Knowing that a belief is a delusion is called insight. This involves having a fixed false belief but also knowing that even though you believe it, it doesn't make it true. With therapy and/or medication, sometimes people develop this type of insight.
