First : First of all let me reassure you that this normal and happens to many women throughout their childbearing years. Amenorrhea (absence of period) can be due to a number of reason, obviously pregnancy (not in your case), extreme fluctuations in weight (increase or decrease), hormonal changes (i.E thyroid disorders), birth control pills, and stress/anxiety. Your period will likely return in the next couple of months; if it does not see your doctor and consider birth control pills to regulate your period. Take care.
