This : This sounds like a common stomach flu (gastroenteritis) or food poisoning. Also increased stomach acid production (dyspepsia) may be to blame. Drink plenty of fluids and try Pepcid (famotidine) or maalox. I f you are a female and you have missed your period, please test for pregnancy. Otherwise, if your symptoms are still present please visit your doctor for a medical evaluation and treatment as deemed necessary. Best of luck.

Persistent : Persistent nausea can be due to a number of conditions, such as pregnancy, peptic ulcer disease, gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining), gallbladder disease, pancreatic disorders, hepatitis, intestinal infections, medications, irritable bowel syndrome, thyroid or adrenal disease, or inflammatory bowel disease (crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis). I've attached a link from the american college of gastroenterology that provides more information about persistent nausea. If your symptoms haven't resolved, see your doctor. I hope you feel better soon! http://patients.Gi.Org/topics/nausea-and-vomiting/.
