If : If you took one of the seven placebo pills at the end of the pack instead of one of the 21 hormone pills at the beginning, just take the first hormone pill of the pack like you normally would as soon as you realize your mistake. Since taking the placebo pill is equivalent to missing a pill, you will want to use a back-up form of birth control for the next 7 days just to be safe. Then just take all of the pills in succession as you normally would. When you get to the 7 (now 6) pills at the end, you can just take the 6 you have and start a new pack after you finish this one.
