I've had my period for more than 10 days now, is this normal? im 21, never had a child never been placed on birth control. just recently my period came back after one whole year of nothing.

Many : Many causes of this are possible. It is still called secondary amenorrhea. You should visit your gyn doctor ; he will examine you and then order some basic blood tests including prolactin, fsh, thyroid panel CBC and blood sugar. If all tests are normal, then you are reassured; if not other work-up will be indicated. Good luck.

Not normal.: Recommend medical assessment to determine cause of this imbalance. Neither the amenorhea nor the lenthy period are normal.
