It : It depends on the nodule, is it on the skin or under the skin. If it is on the skin, is is smooth (warts vs skin tag) or is it an growth (need to rule out cancer). If the growth is under the skin (you can only feel it when you palpate deeply), it can either be a pyeronies plaque (which will give you a penile curvature during erection) or urethral stricure (you will have slow stream).
