HPV : Hpv can cause problems such as warts, cervical dysplasia and cervical cancer. They have several subtypes. Some subtypes are frequently associated with these changes and are labeled "high risk hpv" versus , other subtypes that are less likely associated with these changes are labeled as "low risk hpv". Notice that there are no "no risk hpv" strains. Please continue to monitor your condition closely with your gynecologist. I doubt that more sex changed the subtype of your hpv.

Risk=strain specific: There are dozens of HPV strains, The HPV strain you become infected either falls into a group known to do bad things like cancer (high risk) or not. The strain does not convert from to a low to a high risk strain over time.
