Variable: Symptoms can include fatigue, mental status changes, headaches, nausea/ vomitting, general failure, limb weakness, visual or speech disurbances, mood changes. However, with effective nursing and hospice care a lot of these symptoms can be effectivley treated.

The patient may experience partial paralysis, alterations in mood and mentation, stroke, coma, visual disturbances, epileptic-like seizures, and sudden death. These symptoms may be intermittent or progressive. It is best to consult with the oncology team so you and the family can be prepared for the eventualities.
