Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) : Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) is not a drug that is routinely screened for in standard drug tests. As far as I am aware it will not give a positive screen on a drug test. If anyone else has any other information on this topic please add a comment.
I hope this helps.

Yes: If they are testing for benzodiazepines, this drug will show up. Most basic drug testing panels will test for benzodiazepines. If you inform your doctors of all of your medications, you should be fine. This is a common medication for muscle spasm.

Possibly: The rate of drug elimination from the body is called the half life; it is the time for half of the dosage to be eliminated. After two half lives, only 1/4 of the amount will be present. The half life of cyclobenzaprine ranges fro 8 to 37 hours, and is affected by many other medications however, cyclobenzaprine is not a drug of common abuse, and would not likely show up n a drug abuse screen.

You will know: You will know when it starts working when you start feeling a difference in your symptoms, it also can make you start feeling sleepy as well. Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) usually will start working 20-30!minutes after you ingest it.

Dr. Robison is correct. If you took it on a full stomach, it can talk up to an hour or an hour and a half for max effect.
