This : This question is confusing to me. "bruising" occurs when something traumatic injures the blood vessels under our skin, breaking them, and causing bleeding under the skin. That is what we see as a bruise. I am assuming you have a dark area there. If it is on both sides, it may be a skin pigmentation issue. If it is on one side, i would be concerned that it could be a skin lesion. I would ask that you have a gynecological or possibly a dermatological (skin doctor) evaluation to assess the area and be sure that it is normal for you.

See a GYN MD: The "bruising" that you are noting is actually bleeding, at the time of your menses, into a para vulvo-vaginal cavity. This can be located and closed surgically if needed.
