Too many to list: There are a multitude of plants that have toxic parts that if eaten will create problems. It's a good idea to know what is in your yard and investigate the specifics. A great resource is the texas poison cotrol page at www.Poisoncontrol.Org also 1-800-222-1222. The page has a search feature with plant photo's to help you identify common plants of interest.

Poison ivy and oak: Look for poison ivy and poison oak. Poison ivy has 3 leaves, whereas poison oak has five. Wash immediately with contact!

Euphorbia too!: Agree with others, poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac are well known. The sap from euphorbia is very toxic to eyes. Datura is another. Many others are poisonous to eat though not to touch, like sweet peas, castor beans. Please do a search of toxic plants. Also, plants may be toxic to cats or dogs or other pets but not to humans, so check for those too.
