Many: The most effective pain treatment is to eliminate the underlying problem through repair or rehabilitation. In cases where this is not possible, treatment of pain may include stress reduction, behavioral therapy, topical medication, massage, ice, heat, compressive wraps, tens, or spinal stimulation.
